Refund Policy

Refund and cancellation rules for Talk to My Lawyer letters, written and sent by licensed attorneys, and subscriptions.

Letter refunds

A paid letter is eligible for a refund if your attorney cannot write or send it.

For letters that were sent, refund requests are considered case by case when you contact support@talkmylawyer.com within 7 days of sending and explain the problem.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid billing period unless the account is terminated for misuse or legal risk.

Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable once the billing period begins, except where required by law or where a platform error prevented meaningful use.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when technically possible. Processor timing and bank posting times are outside our control.

Refund abuse, chargeback abuse, inaccurate intake information, or a letter that was already sent may limit refund eligibility.
