Refund Policy
Refund and cancellation rules for Talk to My Lawyer one-time drafts, attorney-reviewed letters, and subscriptions.
Last updated July 3, 2026.
Draft refunds
A paid draft is eligible for a refund if the review team rejects it and it cannot reasonably be revised into a usable attorney-reviewed letter.
Approved drafts are reviewed case by case when you contact support@talkmylawyer.com within 7 days of delivery and explain the problem.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid billing period unless the account is terminated for misuse or legal risk.
Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable once the billing period begins, except where required by law or where a platform error prevented meaningful use.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when technically possible. Processor timing and bank posting times are outside our control.
Refund abuse, chargeback abuse, inaccurate intake information, or use of a delivered draft may limit refund eligibility.
